Cytolytic activity of human DCs on U937 histocytic lymphoma.

DCs were cultured for 24 hours with or without 5 μg/mL of LPS in a flat-bottom 96-well plate. After extensive washing,⁵¹Cr-labeled U937 (A) or K562 (B) at 1 × 10⁴ cells/well was added into wells containing different numbers of DCs (shown as E/T ratio). Release of⁵¹Cr from target cells was measured 10 hours later. The results are presented as the mean ± SD of triplicate wells. The results of 2 representative experiments using DCs from different donors are shown. *P < .05 compared with DCs cultured with medium.
