Luminal and total (luminal and intracellular) P-selectin expression measured by LSC.

Luminal P-selectin expression was determined on confluent HUVEC stimulated for 48 hours with IL-4 (20 ng/mL) or IL-13 (50 ng/mL) with or without histamine (10⁻⁵ mol/L) added for 10 minutes. Total P-selectin expression was determined for IL-4– and IL-13–stimulated HUVEC using permeabilization with saponin. Specific mean fluorescence was determined as detailed in “Materials and methods.” The data are taken from 3 to 4 independent experiments.
