MEFV expression in colon cancer cell lines.

Total RNAs were isolated from 11 human colon cancer cell lines. Expression of MEFV was analyzed by RT-PCR (30 cycles) and hybridization using an MEFV-specific oligonucleotide. As a negative control, RT-PCR was performed without DNA and, as a positive control, cDNA from monocytoid THP-1 cells was amplified.
