Ristocetin induces activation of mouse platelets.
Platelets (106) were incubated with 1.5 mg/mL ristocetin in the presence of 1 U/mL apyrase at RT for 10 minutes. Subsequently, FITC-labeled antibodies were added in saturating amounts, and the samples were analyzed on a FACScan after 15 minutes. (shaded area) Staining of resting platelets.
