FACS analysis of PBMC after stimulation with IPP.

PBMC isolated by density centrifugation (Ficoll-Hypaque) from a healthy donor were stained to detect the percentage of Vδ2⁺ and Vδ1⁺ T cells before (B) and after culture for 21 days in vitro with either IL-2 alone (C) or IL-2+IPP (D).Cells were gated for the expression of the gene product Vδ2 or Vδ1. The gates are indicated by boxes, and the numbers indicate the percentage of positive cells within the total T-cell population. Panel A shows reactivity for the isotype control antibodies.
