Patterns of nuclear Rel/NF-κB and octamer factors detected in dendritic cells after treatment with various stimuli.

Immunoblots of nuclear proteins from immature dendritic cells treated with various stimuli for 3 days. These stimuli either preserve the immature state of dendritic cells (GM-CSF/IL-4) or induce their maturation (all other stimuli). The stimuli used were monocyte-conditioned medium (lane 1); a cytokine cocktail consisting of IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, and PGE₂ (lane 2); TNF-α (lane 3); and GM-CSF/IL-4 (lane 4).
