LIL-Stat is constitutively activated in nuclear extracts of seven out of nine AML cases. (A) Five micrograms of nuclear proteins from nine AML cases were incubated with ³²P-labeled LILRE oligonucleotide for determination of constitutive LIL-Stat binding. (B) Similar to the above-mentioned experiment, nuclear extracts of nine AML cases were band-shifted with the Stat3-specific oligonucleotide.
