The differences between the PBS/NMS and G-CSF treatment groups, and between the CMC and SCH 14988 treatment groups is statistically significant at P < .01 as determined by the Students' t-test. The differences between the SCH 14988 and the 50- and 125-μg/kg human G-CSF treatment groups are also statistically significant at P < .05. Cytological examination confirmed that granulocytes were exclusively segmented neutrophils.
