The middle bar represents the 42 patients who accurately increased their dose of imatinib at 3 months and 6 months in accordance with the protocol. The right bar shows the outcome in the 40 patients who failed to increase their dose of imatinib at 3 months or 6 months according to the protocol. Three patients (corresponding to the middle bar) and 5 patients (corresponding to right bar) who did not have a molecular response test at 12 months were excluded from this analysis.
