Effect of daily subcutaneous injections of rhIL-11 in wild type mice.

Mice were subcutaneously injected daily for 7 days with placebo (■) or 250 μg/kg rhIL-11 (▪). At the indicated times, blood was collected, and platelet counts were performed with a Coulter counter. We measured vWf concentration using ELISA, and FVIII activity was determined with a clotting assay.
