ARIEL is required for T-ALL cell survival in culture. (A-B) Jurkat (A) and MOLT-4 (B) cells were transduced by lentivirus infection with either a control shRNA (shGFP) or an shRNA targeting ARIEL (sh3 and sh5). Cell viability was measured for up to 7 days. Cell growth rates relative to the readings on day 1 are shown as the mean plus or minus SD of triplicate experiments. (C) Western blot analysis was performed using antibodies against cleaved PARP and cleaved caspase 3 in Jurkat and MOLT-4 cells after the shRNA knockdown of ARIEL.
