Intracellular distribution of HIV-1 and WT viperin or mutants in HEK293T cells. HEK293T cell were cotransfected with pWT/BaL proviral HIV-1 DNA and either WT viperin (A) or S1 + S2 + S3 domain mutants (B) for 72 hours. They were then fixed in 3% paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.05% Triton-X, and labeled for viperin (red), p24 (green), and nucleus (blue).
