Figure 5. CD62L− T cells are activated on transfer into allogeneic recipients. Bulk, CD62L+, or CD62L− T cells (1 × 106) from unprimed B6 CD45.1 mice were transplanted into lethally irradiated BALB/c recipients. On day 6, splenocytes were harvested and stained with indicated antibodies for flow cytometry analysis. The data shown including histogram, percentage of positive cells, mean fluorescence intensity (MFI), and total positive cells were gated on CD45.1+ T cells (all transplanted donor T cells). Normal B6 CD45.1 mice were included as a control. Each group contained 5 to 8 mice. The data are the representative of 2 independent experiments. All values represent means + SD (A) CD4+ T cells.
