Transition probabilities between the states were calculated for each subgroup with the use of the database. The probabilities of state transition were allowed to vary along with the cycle (1 cycle = 3 months) advances, depending on the states that the cohorts move from and to. As a result, the patients were distributed in each health state in changing proportions at different times from CR1. GVHD indicates graft-versus-host disease; and CR1, first complete remission.
