Pattern A indicates all HMW multimers present, as in plasma of normal persons; pattern B, partial loss of the HMW multimers; pattern C, complete loss of HMW multimers; pattern D, loss of high and intermediate multimers. Pattern A is identical to that of normal plasma (NP).
