Localization of CD53, CD62L, CD63, and CD71 in polarized CD34⁺CD133⁺ cells. CD53, CD63, and CD71 are localized in vesicular-like structures at the base of the uropod. In addition, CD71 is expressed all over the cell surface, including the leading edge (left side of the cell shown in column 2). CD62L is highly localized at the tip of the uropod and colocalizes with CD133.
