Unstimulated, fresh, nonpermeabilized suspensions of PBMCs were examined by contrast microscopy, Hoechst staining, and TF and GPIbα immunolabeling. No TF label is observed in leukocytes, whereas 1 platelet stained strongly for TF and GPIbα, with extensive colocalization of both glycoproteins.
