Live mf of B malayi down-regulate production of mhDC cytokines in response to a TLR3 ligand and to a TLR4 ligand but not to a TLR5 ligand. mhDCs were exposed to live mf for 48 hours and harvested, and viable cells were activated with the TLR3 ligand poly I:C (A), the TLR4 ligand LPS (B), and the TLR5 ligand flagellin (C) for 72 hours.
