Adhesion assays were performed as described in Fig 3 using anti–L-selectin MoAb MEL-14, anti-α4 MoAb PS/2, a combination of these two antibodies, a “cocktail” of MEL-14, PS/2 and anti-β2 integrin MoAbs M1/70 and FD344.1 or the “cocktail” plus L11. Bound cells were counted as described for Fig 3. Shown are the mean and standard error of multiple (four to six) independent segments from two control or three cholesterol-fed rabbits from a single experiment in which all conditions were examined in parallel. Each condition (compared with control) was repeated in two to four independent experiments with similar results.
