Transplantation of W/W^v mice with +/+ bone marrow cells (□) or W/W^v (▪) bone marrow cells. Eight weeks posttransplant W/W^v mice administered +/+ donor cells had normal Hct levels and responded significantly to anti–VCAM-1, in contrast to W/W^v recipients of W/W^v donor cells.
