Monocytes (5 × 106 cells/mL) were pretreated with increasing concentrations of rhIFN-γ (0-100 ng/mL) for 30 minutes at 37°C. Cells were then stimulated with LPS (10 ng/mL) and cultured overnight. Supernatants were then harvested and assayed by ELISA for TNF-α and sTNF-RII. The levels of TNF-α and sTNF-RII protein in ng/mL are shown.
