Radioiron distribution in hypertransfused rat 7 days after the intravenous injection of radioiron-tagged heat-damaged erythrocytes (⁵⁹Fe-DRBC). Treatment with DF or IRC011 consisted of a single intraperitoneal injection of 200 mg/kg 1 hour after labeling. Residual radioactivity represents whole body radioactivity minus the combined radioactivity of blood, spleen, and liver. Each treatment group consisted of 4 to 11 animals.
