Normal and CLL B-cell expression of the TGF-β type II receptor are similar. Normal and CLL B cells were cultured for 48 hours in media with 5% FCS. Subsequently, cells were labeled with anti–CD19-PE and anti–TGF-βRII followed by goat anti-rabbit Ig-FITC. Expression of the TGF-β type II receptor (solid histogram) is shown relative to isotype staining (open histogram) after gating on CD19⁺ lymphocytes. Data for normal and CLL B cells are representative of 7 and 12 samples, respectively.
