CD8+ T cells from leukemic mice secrete equal or higher levels of Th1 type cytokines than normal cells in response to TcR and mitogen stimulation. T-1 and T-2 cells were cultured at 2 × 105 cells/well in the presence of anti-CD3 or mitogens and a feeder layer of irradiated 2 × 105 syngeneic, anti-Thy 1.2 and C′-treated splenocytes.
