Inhibition of the Tat-mediated transactivation of HIV-1 LTR-CAT by SOF-OLIGO in Jurkat T cells, activated by 15% FCS 24 hours after serum-starvation (1% FCS). Cells were transiently cotransfected with LTR-CAT plus tat/S plus SOF-OLIGO or FOS-OLIGO. CAT activity is expressed as folds of activation with respect to Jurkat cells transfected with LTR-CAT alone. Data are reported as means ± SDs of three independent transfection experiments performed in duplicate.
