Time to granulocyte recovery (ANC ≥ 500/μL) for the four groups who received the third course of postremission intensification therapy. The median times to recovery were 30.6 days, 19.5 days, 19.0 days, and 23.3 days for groups 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively. Patients receiving G-CSF (groups 3, 4) had significantly shorter times to recovery compared with those who did not receive growth factor (groups 1 and 2; P < .001).
