Influence of iron overload on the development of protoporphyria. C57BL/10ScSn mice received CP94 for 2 weeks. Mice were injected with dextran or iron-dextran 1 week before starting CP94 treatment. Results are mean ± SD from 3 mice per group. Results in the CP94 group given dextran were significantly different from its controls.
