For each mutation, depth at the variant position was considered to calculate variant allele frequency; that is, the proportion of mutated reads among total reads and its 95% CI. For each patient having at least 1 of the 4 SF3B1, TET2, ASXL1, or DNMT3A mutations, pairwise comparisons between the variant allele frequencies of mutations were performed using Fisher’s exact test.
