Cytospins from BM show increased granulocytes and monocytes and substantial monocytic infiltration was found in the lungs, liver, and spleen of mice with PtenΔ/Δ; Nf1+/−. The lungs show nodular monocytic infiltration (indicated by an arrow). Monocytic infiltration was observed in the sinuses of the liver (indicated by arrows).
