tPA-S⁴⁸¹A attenuates neurologic deterioration post CHI. CHI was induced in WT, tPA^−/−, and uPA^−/− mice as in Figure 3. Saline (Cont) or saline containing tPA-S⁴⁸¹A (1 mg/kg), tranexamic acid (TA; 150 mg/kg), aprotinin (AP; 1 mg/kg), or TA plus AP was given immediately or 2 hours (as indicated) after CHI.
