Reproduction of GC B-cell accumulation and Fas downregulation in recipient SCID mice after adoptive transfer of non-GC B cells. Non-GC B cells from miR-146a TG or WT mice were mixed with WT CD4+ T cells at a 1:1 ratio and adoptively transferred into recipient SCID BALB/c mice. (A) Seven days after adoptive transfer, the percentage of CD19+CD38lowCD95high GC B cells was determined by FACS (n = 7). (B) Fas was detected in CD19+CD38low B cells as described earlier. The mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) of Fas expression was calculated at 3 and 6 days after adoptive transfer. All data are representative of at least 3 independent experiments.
