Summary of translocation events in myeloma. Translocations occur between the IGH locus and all main partner chromosomes through CSR in the germinal center. t(11;14) and t(14;20) subgroups also have other mechanisms of developing translocations through receptor revision in the germinal center or through D_H-J_H recombination at the early pro–B-cell stage.
