Inhibition of ADAM17 reduces soluble CD16 production. Soluble CD16 was measured in the supernatant after incubation in either media alone, with 1 μg/mL PMA or with IL-12 (10 ng/mL) + IL-18 (100 ng/mL) for 1 (upper panel) or 6 hours (lower panel) in the presence or absence of 10 μM ADAM17 inhibitor (n = 4). Bars represent mean ± SEM. Activated NK cells were compared with resting NK cells using the paired t test.
