A total of 225 patients were immunophenotyped at diagnosis, and 6 patients (3%) were excluded from further MRD monitoring due to the lack of aberrant phenotypes. A total of 127 patients had MRD assessed at cycle 9 after consecutive cycles of VMP (n = 60) or alternating VMP/Rd (n = 67). A total of 118 patients had MRD assessed at cycle 18 after sequential VMP followed by Rd (n = 61) or alternating VMP/Rd (n = 57), 83 of them with MRD data on cycles 9 and 18. Thus, 162 patients enrolled in the PETHEMA/GEM2010MAS65 had at least 1 MRD study.
