MPs from LPS-treated THP-1 cells contain IL-1β and inflammasome components. MPs were isolated from THP-1 cells treated with or without LPS. Lysates of MPs and their parental THP-1 cells were subjected to Western blot for (A) IL-1β and ICAM-1, VCAM-1, and E-selectin or (B) NLRP3, caspase-1, and ASC. GAPDH served as a loading control.
