Figure 5. [3H]Palmitate incorporation confirms that TLT-1 is a palmitoylated protein. Platelets were metabolically labeled with [3H]palmitic acid and separated into resting (lane 1) and thrombin-activated (lane 2) samples and lysed. TLT-1 was then immunoprecipitated from resting (lane 3) and thrombin-activated platelet lysates (lane 4). Samples were subjected to Western blot analysis (A) or audioradiography to assess [3H] palmitate incorporation (B). Full-length TLT-1 is the band corresponding to 37 kDa.
