SR-A and MARCO promote TLR3 activation by ligand delivery. Bg-PM from SR-A, MARCO, and DKO mice show reduced cytokine production following polyI stimulation compared with WT control. TNF-α and IL6 concentrations were measured in supernatants following 16 hours of stimulation of Bg-PM with 100 μg/mL of polyI.
