Figure 5. Cytokine-activated NK cells produce IFNγ, TNFα, and GM-CSF. Total NK cells (NK) and FACS-sorted CD56dim (dim) and CD56bright (br) NK cells were stimulated with different cytokines (IL-2, IL-15, IL-21, IL-12, IL-18, IL-12, IL-18, or IL-12 + IL-18) for 18 to 24 hours. Culture supernatants were used to measure (A) IFNγ and (B) TNFα by cytokine bead array and (C) GM-CSF by cytokine flex set.
