Evolution of memory phenotypes of EBV-specific T cells after T-cell transfer. Peripheral blood cells from patient 1 (A) and patient 2 (B) were costained with HLA/peptide pentamer and monoclonal antibodies for CD8, CCR7, and CD45RA. CD8+ pentamer+ cells were gated as shown and analyzed for their expression of memory differentiation markers CCR7 and CD45RA.
