pdFVIII and rFVIII infusions cause the maturation of DCs. Assessment of DC maturation after treating naive hemophilic Balb/c mice with either HBSS, 2 IU VWF, 2 IU pdFVIII, or 2 IU rFVIII. Mice were killed 24 hours after the infusions, and CD11c⁺ DCs were purified from the spleens. The expression of (A) CD86 or (B) CD80 maturation markers was quantified on DCs via flow cytometry.
