Detection of TF expression in peripheral blood eosinophils. Immediately processed whole blood was scanned to identify leukocytic sources of TF. In mature (unstimulated) eosinophils (A), the protein is predominantly stored in the specific granules (arrows in the insets in panels B and C), low amounts being present on membranes of other cell organelles in the cytoplasm.
