CD38 is laterally associated with functional surface receptors of mMDDCs and colocalizes within GM1⁺lipid domains. CD38 (A,C,F-I), CD83 (B), CD11b (D), CCR7 (E), or CD81 (J) capping was induced in LPS-matured MDDCs by ligation with the specific mAb followed by binding with TRITC-conjugated GαMIg (red). FITC-labeled mAbs directed to the second surface receptor or FITC-labeled CTX were then added as indicated (green).
