Down-regulation of NF-κB-regulated antiapoptosis, signaling, and growth factors is concomitant with the onset of apoptosis in EBV- and KSHV-infected lymphoma cells. After initial probe, blots were stripped and reprobed with an actin control. Results shown are for BC-3 but are representative of both cell types in terms of down-regulation and timing. (B) Evaluation of protein expression in KSHV-infected BC-1 and BCBL-1 cells and EBV-infected BCKN-1 and LCL-9001 cell lines. Protein expression was evaluated by Western blot analyses using whole cell extracts from cell lines cultured at 7.5 × 105 cells/mL and treated with Bay 11-7082 for 6 hours. After initial probe, blots were stripped and reprobed with actin control.
