ANBL6 cells stably transfected with empty vector (♦), mutated N-ras (▴), or mutated K-ras (▪) were cultured in the absence of IL-6, and viable cell counts were performed over the ensuing 12 days. Data are means of 3 separate experiments; SDs were always less than 5% of the means.
