CD5− Daudi cells were transfected with pNT-neo or LZRS vectors containing or not containing full-length human CD5 cDNA. Transfected Daudi cells were stained with CD5 mAbs or loaded with the fluorescent Ca2+indicator Fura-2/AM, and the fluorescence of the suspension was monitored with a spectrometer in 1 mM Ca2+-containing medium at 37°C and was stimulated 50 seconds later with 2 μg/mL rabbit antihuman IgM.
