Flow cytometric analysis of hαIIb/mβ3 on the surface of platelets.

The mixed species hαIIb/mβ3 receptors were detected by flow cytometry using MAB1990 as the primary antibody. Except for the 18 copy3′+hαIIb platelets, none of the other animals had platelets showing demonstrable hαIIb/mβ3 receptors on their surface, and the intensity in this highest line was still only about 10% of the human platelet control.
