Patients undergoing PBPC transplantation underwent stem cell mobilization with chemotherapy and G-CSF with or without PEG-rHuMGDF. Use of PEG-rHuMGDF increased granulocyte-macrophage colony-forming cells (GM-CFCs), megakaryocyte colony-forming cells (Meg-CFCs), erythroid burst-forming units (BFU-Es), and CD34⁺ cells.
