The cells observed in the present series on spleen sections showed two distinctive features: (A) cells with round nucleus, clumped chromatin, and abundant basophilic cytoplasm, (B) cells with more irregular nucleus, less clumped chromatin, and less abundant cytoplasm, and (C) an increase in atypical cells with a prominent nucleolus, increase in large cells, and mitosis in morphologically transformed cases.
