Mice that had received EGFP+ BM TNC transplants were treated with olive oil or CCl4 for 12 weeks, and livers of the mice were examined microscopically. Serial sections were stained with hematoxylin-eosin (H-E) and azan. Original magnification, ×100. Staining was analyzed using an Olympus BX50 light microscope equipped with a 10×/0.40 NA objective lens, an Olympus DP70 CCD camera, and DP Manager software, and images were processed using Adobe Photoshop CS. Simultaneous differential interference contrast and EGFP images were also acquired using an Olympus IX81 FV1000 laser scanning confocal microscope equipped with 20×/0.75 NA objective lens and using FV10-ASW software.
