Figure 3. CA4P decreases mitochondrial transmembrane potential of leukemic cells. Leukemic cells were incubated with CA4P at different concentrations for 48 hours and mitochondrial membrane potential was determined by incorporation of the potential-sensitive fluorescent dye DiOC6(3) using flow cytometry. CA4P-untreated cells have a strong uptake of the dye, whereas CA4P decreases the amount of dye uptake. Results are representative of 3 independent experiments. Numbers in the quadrants are log fluorescent intensity.
